This Jalapeño Bourbon Cranberry Sauce adds a spicy twist to your traditional holiday sauce. Made with cranberries, jalapeños, brown and granulated sugar, orange juice, and bourbon, it’s a flavorful accompaniment to your festive meals.
Combine jalapeños, salt, brown sugar, granulated sugar, orange juice, water, and orange zest in a large pot over medium heat.
Bring to a simmer, then add cranberries.
Continue cooking, stirring periodically, until cranberries have broken down and sauce has thickened, about 15 minutes.
Add in bourbon, stir into sauce, and cook for an additional five minutes to burn off the alcohol.
If sauce is too thick for your liking, thin with more water.
